This could be fun!  No-one told me that I would get wet on the outside as well!

I'll bet that no-one has ever done it like this before!

First time out, as the old man takes her out and brings her back in ... very gently does it  She will have plenty of time to get used to us!   (27/9/08)

Our Fun Day in Blyth on Saturday, 6th September, was a victim of the weather, as torrential rains soaked the area. Our sincere thanks go to Cllr. Kath Nisbet, the Deputy Mayor of Blyth Valley for braving the conditions so that she could name our boat "Blyth Venture". The Briardale Community and Training Centre, Blyth Junior Wardens and HM Coastguard also attended. Even though the weather was quite foul, we managed to drum up some entertainment, and an enjoyable time was had by all.

Was named on Saturday, 6th September 2008

"I name this boat "Blyth Venture".  May she take care of all those who sail with her."

OK People, let's just pose for the camera - I know it's raining, but look as if you are enjoying yourselves!
